G'day Friends, HAPPY EASTER!!! I remember I wanted to make seasonal ZINES and totally forgot to do one at Christmas! Obviously I blame the stress of a hectic Christmas period... hahha! But I have not forgotten EASTER! Using all the good creative energy I've gathered from everyone's "Easter Swatchdoll" pieces I've tackled a very ambitious zine. Throughout the process there were about 7 times where I thought, I'm probably not going to be able to make this work! But I persisted and I am so happy with the finished result. An idea came to me when I looked at one of the pages and I want to share it with you if you need some encouragement today: "We are a mixed bunch of blossoms, and we all grow at a different pace, even in the same garden... but we are all beautiful." In this big old garden of CREATIVITY there is room for you to plant and cultivate your seed! You will grow at your own pace, if you nurture your seed, and others will grow as they nurture theirs. You will bloom and blossom when you are supposed to, and destroying someone else petals won't make yours anymore appealing... Stand tall in the garden and appreciate the beauty you add to it. Then, when you're ready, help others nurture their seeds... :D James.
