Amtrak Train 64, The Maple Leaf, from Toronto to New York-Penn, hustles through the Metro North Station on track 4 at Dobbs Ferry. The train is on time, and is currently making its way southbound to its next stop, which is Yonkers (scheduled to stop there at 9:12). Tonight's consist is a P32ACDM Genesis #709 with 5 Amfleet I's. Notice the Doppler effect at the :10 mark when the engineer blows his horn to me. I am standing in the overpass on the north end of the station. Train 64 is coming through the station about 5 minutes after CSX Train B75 came through, which you can see in the video I posted just prior to this one. This video was taken at 9:05Pm on January 15th, 2008. By the way, as a small side note....Amtrak is relatively on time for once! As the unofficial motto of Amtrak states: "We may leave on time, but we won't get there on time." This time, I guess they can ignore this motto. Well done, guys, well done.
