The Hotel Gromada Dom Chlopa is situated centrally in the Polish capital of Warsaw, approximately 1 Kilometre from Warsaw's main railway station, and 500 metres from the Palace of Culture and Science (in the general direction of the Vistula River). It is a large budget bordering on mid-range hotel, that probably best suits travellers who don't want to spend too much. The hotel has several floors and many bedrooms, as well as a bar, restaurant, reception area and beer garden. This review features one of the twin bedrooms, views from the hotel over the city streets, the bathroom, public lift, restaurant, reception and beer garden, as well as external shots of the hotel exterior. Overall I had an OK stay at Dom Chlopa, however I probably wouldn't stay there again. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress looked ancient, I had to lie on top of the quilt for the sake of comfort, I also disliked the bath / shower arrangement, if you are a budget traveller and you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful then this place is OK, but me personally, I prefer a bit more comfort and a little more luxury.
