Figure 8 Trailer Race at Spartan Speedway in Mason, MI. I'm the blue truck with the big white G on the side, sponsored by Graff Chevrolet in Okemos, MI. Right off the bat, I took out the yellow truck's trailer in turn 1. It popped off a LOT easier than I thought it would, I was just trying to give him a nudge and it ended up coming right off. Coming into the intersection, the guy behind me wedged under my trailer and basically pried it off the ball. The Taurus hit my trailer and blew his radiator, and the steam created a smoke screen so thick that almost everyone else got tangled up in it and nearly the entire race grid was taken out. The race was called at that point because the wind and rain picked up and everyone was leaving the stands. On the one hand, I feel bad that we didn't even get one full lap of racing, but on the other, now that we know they would have called the race after lap 1 anyway, I'm actually glad that my trailer caused that carnage because it put on a show, which is exactly what everyone was there to see.
