How data could help us in Health? Is it possible to imagine a zero patients vision by 2030 matching medicine, artifical intelligence and social policies? Maybe this is not utopia, but our best challenge is to work for a World in which life expectancy will not depend on the zip code of the place we were born. Cresciuto in provincia di Belluno, a sedici anni vince una borsa di studio che lo porta allo United World College di Duino. Da lì prosegue il suo percorso di studi e ricerche fra York, Cambridge e Singapore. A 34 anni torna in Italia per fondare l’Unità di Funzione del Genoma del Centro di Genomica Traslazionale e Bionformatica del San Raffaele di Milano. Dal 2017 è Senior Director Data Science & Bioinformatics del Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, istituto oncologico della Scuola di Medicina di Harvard. Nell’ottobre 2018 ha accettato una nuova sfida e diventata Chief Analytics Officer per Health Catalyst Inc., un’azienda in fortissima crescita che gestisce i dati di circa 100 milioni di pazienti.
