Eamonn Holmes, 58, was recognised for 40 years in broadcast on Friday morning as he received an OBE from the Queen at Buckingham Palace (inset). He was joined at the ceremony by his beaming wife and co-host Ruth Langsford, their son Jack, 16, and his 27-year-old daughter Rebecca from his previous marriage (centre). Taking to Twitter before the event, he wrote: 'Wish me luck. #OBE Day. Let's hope it doesn't rain on my Parade'. Also awarded on Friday were Lush Cosmetics Mark and Mo Constantine and Lieutenant Colonel Mordaunt Cohen, 101.
