My name is Kimberly McDonough and I play the violin/electric violin. I enjoy playing many genres of music (classical, popular, soundtrack) and Lindsey Stirling's dubstep violin music is one of my favorite types to perform. I play at all sorts of events professionally (art walks, restaurants, parties, ceremonies, weddings, etc.).

Performing is something I deeply enjoy, so I'm currently studying music performance in college. By doing this, I hope to spread my love for music to every person that I can. I believe that music can touch the hearts and souls of everyone, so I hope I can do this through my videos and other social media.

This is an unaccompanied Bach Sonata that I performed at a house concert and fundraiser on Kauai on May 12, 2012. This time of my life was very special to me because I got to meet and play with violin virtuoso and owner of the Red Violin, Elizabeth Pitcairn (standing behind me), who came to Kauai to raise money for me to attend her summer music camp called Luzerne Music Center. She even gave me a private lesson and helped me learn how to play this piece better. I am so grateful for the experience that I got from this--it ultimately helped me become a better musician and performer.

I hope you enjoy this classical piece (one of two that I played at this house concert--look for the other video called The Swan/Le Cygne on my channel). Please share, like, subscribe, and click on the links to my other videos! Thank you so much for watching! Lots of Love, Kim
