Part of the worship of Sobek involved the mummification of sacred crocodiles. Many of these mummies have survived and are displayed in a museum at the temple site. For those of you who may never make it to Kom Ombo yourself, here is a quick tour of the museum. This footage was recorded June 12, 2012.
