Honda eu 1000i noise vs Coleman with modifications

My Honda EU 1000i noise vs my Coleman loud generator. I welded an additional low tone muffler and placed the generator into an noise insulated and fan ventilated empty bay on my bus. The bay does not get very hot you can hand touch the top of the bay and it's barely warm. The exhaust exits the bottom of the RV. The decibel scale is not really calibrated but since both are measured on the same device at the same distance + - a couple of feet. Anyway the coleman is much quieter in the bay than the Honda outside on the ground. In the RV you don't even hear it and on the other side of the bus it's very quiet. I need a little more power than the Honda had to run my Air Conditioning
