Well sure, I am late to getting to this DLC, when normally I would've covered it on release day. The main reason for this is because my main PC is still not functional. However, after solving some of the laptop's lag/stutter issues when recording, and while feeling a little down, I decided it was as good a time as any to experience Far Cry 5's first major DLC pack. 

Hours of Darkness sets you in the shoes of Wendell Redler, a character we actually met in Hope County. Our helicopter is shot down behind enemy lines and it's our job to make it to the evacuation point while rescuing our squad & completing other objectives along the way. 

Unfortunately, this DLC has received a mostly negative rating among the community. The biggest reason, seemingly, is due to the length of the DLC. That is true, the DLC is very short, a little too short for me personally, but the journey was well worth it. 

I completed this Let's Play in one sitting, and it took about 3 to 3.5 hours to complete. My personal opinion on the DLC? I think it's great. It introduces new weapons, some of which are added to the base game for us to use, all of which are fun to use mostly. However, I think my favorite thing about this DLC is the ambiance & immersive sound design of the jungle and the war taking place within it. 

NOTE: This is a "BLIND" Let's Play, which means this is my first time playing/experiencing it. Expect brain farts, mistakes, and more.
