So, last fall I took the Swiss Chard from the front soil garden and transplanted one into the aquaponic garden in the back greenhouse. Since it survived the winter, and spring is clearly on it's way around here, it's become time to transplant it back into the soil and full sun. The smaller plants have spent the first year of their life helping to establish my aquaponic system and were harvested when the leaves were about an inch across. (I prefer the young, tender Chard) When this gets itself a little more established I throw out a quick update of how it's doing in the wicking style storage bin.
