Coliseum Battle with Omega. Funny thing is, this was the longest it took me to beat him out of my 3 attempts, but the first time he dropped his crystal. This fight wasn't as smooth as my previous one. Took me over seven minutes, but previously I got him in about 6:15. Basic set up: Monster Team: - Buccaboo Ace Lv. 32 (RAV) - good magic, but even better feral ability. That is why I use this guy. - Flanitor Lv. 40 (MED) - tough to find a good medic monster, plus the emergency heal ability comes in handy. - Silver Chocobo Lv. 44 (SEN) - High HP and a solid set of skills, plus chocobos are badass. Serah - at the time of the fight she was a Lv. 99 RAV, 30 MED, and 75 SEN I believe Noel - Lv. 99 COM, 44 MED, 40 SEN, 85 SYN Game plan it to just endure the pesky attacks Omega deals until he goes big cannon on you. The only other attack to worry about is the flame thrower which does substantial damage. Once he charges up and uses the blast, stagger him with any team OTHER than Tri-Disaster. If you stagger with Tri-Disaster he breaks from stagger almost right away. I use Relentless Assault, stagger, then use Tri-D. Once you get him down health wise, Omega will freak out and start running around everywhere. Just lay the hurt on him however you please and you should be able to kill him pretty darn fast. Not a guaranteed taming, though. This was my third time fighting him. Best of luck!
