After 21 years (16 years of which I was a punter), as of May 2017, a Try Amusement Tower in Akihabara no longer offers a dedicated 'retro' action video coin-ops space. Another sad end in the golden era. It was at this exact time as I filmed this relatively early footage, on a carefree sunny afternoon in Akihabara in September 2001 with my friends, fully realising that this was a very special place in time that I had a life-changing epiphany-I simply have to emigrate to Tokyo.
