Bal Krishna Khandelwal from Ajmer city of Rajasthan became a celebrated figure in his neighbourhood after he showcased the smallest version of ‘Quran’, that can only be read through a magnifying glass. Khandelwal’s Quran is smaller than the average human fingers. In the year 2013, this minute Quran made it to the Rajasthan Book of Records as the world’s smallest Quran. The Khandelwal family has treasured this unique piece for decades now. Members of the Khandelwal household worship this Quran alongside the revered Hindu scripture ‘Geeta’ everyday. Khandelwal has placed the Quran alongside idols of Hindu gods in the house. The way this family has shown its regard for the beliefs of another religion is commendable.
