Dallas Cheerleading Competition last March. Teens everywhere! Help!

I saw my neice Katie compete in a cheerleading competition in Dallas last March. I hadn't seen her since she was little. My mother and sisters were there, too, and it was an INTENSE three days. Teenage girls are a breed of their own. They live in a highly energized state where energy is ongoing and abundant beyond measure. Was I like that? It was a "different" experience, to say the least.
