Turns out the shrine isn't on the side of the river where Srimalinar is after all; if I'd gone to the road that's on the southern side and followed it down I would've found the shrine a lot sooner. That said, the game isn't going to move forward with the plot until I sort out the conflict that's brewing on the horizon; the two sides will quite happily stand right next to ear other and jeer and posture for all eternity if I dithered and dawdled. 

But we shall dither no more. We need to find evidence of what's truly going on in the region and who is behind all the unrest if anyone. What I can say is that we've already interfered with the schemes of the mastermind pulling the strings from the shadows, it's just a case of finding absolute evidence of it.

Alternatively, we could think for five seconds on who out of all the people we've met exudes almost Batlin levels of obvious evil and just presume they did it. The game won't let us do that however and so we're off to find the damning proof instead.
