The Longhouse and Revolutionary Trails Councils, Boy Scouts of America, have joined together into one 2013 National Jamboree Council contingent. In June 2013 they held their final and largest "Shakedown" - an opportunity to meet and work with the boys from across Central and Northern New York, camp together, conduct team building skills, have fun and receive their Jamboree duffel bags and patch sets. In July they will travel to Six Flags, Washington D.C. and ultimately 10 days at the new Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve in West Virginia for the 2013 National Scout Jamboree.
