It’s beautifully shallow and most days crystal clear. All of a sudden I saw what I thought was a red fish. When I ran over it was a giant spotted eagle ray. He kept waving with his “wing”, I call it the beauty queen wave. He let each of us pet him and seemed very friendly, tolerant and even curious and kept digging his snoot in the sand searching for shellfish."
