Coleman Campaign At Odds With Local Election Officials

In a contentious meeting between Minnesota Secretary of State staff, Al Franken Campaign lawyers and Norm Coleman campaign lawyers tried to iron out large differences that emerged over the weekend on which absentee ballots were rejected improperly. The Franken campaign issued a blanked statement accepting the opening of 1,346 ballots local election officials listed as improperly rejected. The Coleman campaign asked for 778 to be opened while adding other ballots not identified by local officials.
