I've come back to this game once I finally had some free time to figure out the rules. It has the same sort of intricacies and complexity that I love about in Civilization except this game focuses more on victory&domination by economical means rather than brute force. For that reason, I highly recommend this game to others. As for multiplayer, it worked flawlessly when playing several games with a friend. Didn't have any issues with lag or latency. I hope this game gets discovered by more players in the future and builds a solid community for the online component.
