This is the first of a three part set from Santa Fe Junction.  I'd have preferred to make it all one video, but these trains are big, and slow moving, and take over 10 minutes to pass by, so along with everything else I filmed, it's just better to split it up instead of having a video nearly 45 minutes long.

Start off with a coal train that had a CREX GE leading solo.  That train was sitting there about a quarter mile away, for a while.  With the single unit, I figured it was actually the DPU and it was waiting for clearance onto Argentine Yard to the west of here. But no, it was actually an eastbounder with the single unit leading.

After that, a pair of light NS units came out of UP's Armourdale Yard most likely heading back to NS property over at their Avondale Yard.  Yes, Kansas City as a lot of yards that start with "A."  Then the unexpected happened. Military jets.  A pair od A10 Warthogs flew over.  Apparently, according to what Dad said, they were circling the city waiting for the right time to fly over the Chiefs stadium for the game that day.

That's where we end this one, again, a couple more videos from here in the next couple of weeks, and some Operations videos starting this Sunday.  So plenty more on the way, thanks for watching and see you next time.
