This video is about the former railroad crossing which eventually became abandoned then removed on the FEC branch line at Miller Drive, SW 56th Street in Miami, Florida near Coral Gables. It is actually right down the road from University of Miami. This crossing and part of the line became abandoned after 1984, when the metro rail was installed in place of the ROW (Right of way) further South of here. This branch line connected to the mainline along US 1 and went into the Florida Keys as the Oversea Railway or Overseas Railroad. It was dark territory which means no signals! The crossing was removed in mid 2008.
