How to use Inkjet Printable Vinyl to update your older worn out toys.

Do you have some older toys that you would just love to update and use or donate? Starla shows you a quick project where you can use Inkjet Printable Vinyl as well as adhesive vinyl to update her old play kitchen set. Such a fun and cute idea. Here's the different types of vinyl you will need to get started: Inkjet Printable - https://expressionsvinyl.com/permanent-adhesive-vinyl/inkjet-printable/ Laminate (to be used on top of the printed images) - https://expressionsvinyl.com/permanent-adhesive-vinyl/laminates/ Reflective - https://expressionsvinyl.com/permanent-adhesive-vinyl/specialty/reflective/ We used the Inkjet Printable vinyl to add the stickers back on to this mini kitchen. First we needed to find similar images that could be used and then convert them to Silhouette Studio or Cricut Design Space. Once you have your images set them as a print then cut. For Inkjet printable we also recommend using a clear laminate over the top to help protect it. That is what you see when adding the clear layer over before cutting. For the stove units, we found the burners and printed them out. We also did a layer of Orange Reflective Vinyl to give it a little depth and dimension. The last step was the wood panel for the cutting board. We just printed out a sheet of wood grain paper. To get the exact shape that we needed, a piece of clear transfer tape was placed in the area and then traced around the image. Once that shape was cut out it was placed on the printed wood grain and cut from there to get the exact shape we were looking for. Each little kitchen will be slightly different but the same thing can be done with each of them.
