We are working for a world in which all people can access the health services they need, without facing financial hardship, ” says WHO Director-General Dr Tedros in a video message for the opening of the Ministerial meeting on the road to Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in the Eastern Mediterranean region which was held in Salalah, Oman, September 2018. The meeting, hosted by the Government of Oman and organized by the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, the 3-day meeting will bring together ministers of health, high-level officials from ministries of health and finance, global and regional experts, parliamentarians and development partners.
