Holly and I were exploring the (short) Eagle Rock Canyon trail loop in Eagle Rock (Los Angeles), California on May 15, 2011. The entrance to the trails is just under the "Eagle Rock" from which the community of Eagle Rock in Northeast LA gets its name. It's an easy hike and you don't need hiking boots or any special gear to do it. There's a view at the top with a plastic chair to sit on, and a fence where people hook their keychains on for whatever reason.
