The nation will continue to honor Arizona Sen. John McCain on Friday with a memorial service in the U.S. Capitol where he served since 1983, although President Trump will not be there. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan each will speak about him. Vice President Mike Pence also will speak. But President Donald Trump, who was not included in early funeral plans, leaves town for a fundraiser and event in North Carolina. McCain will lie in state in the Capitol, an honor reserved for 'eminent citizens.'
