This award is separate from the main award entries. As a young star entrant you can enter into any, and as many of the categories you wish.

1. This award is open to those aged 16-25 working as a junior employee or student in any print related discipline.

2. The Young Star category has two sub-categories:

a. Vocational trainee -- includes apprentices, interns on placements of more than 12 months, industrial trainees and any paid employees in a structured training or development programme. Entrants must include endorsement from their Manager.

b. Student -- includes college, graduate or post-graduate students in part or full time education or those in education embarking on placements of less than 12 months. Entrants must include endorsement from their educational establishment.
