I played hooky this past Friday from work and joined Pat out at Oak Point Park here in Plano, TX. I had my GoPro mounted to "Magnum", my 6-inch freestyle quadcopter featuring TMotor F40 Pro II (1600kv) motors, a and 6S batteries. Here's a few highlights: 0:02 -- Pat takes off before me and I chase him down. 0:51 -- A little tiny punch-out . 1:08 -- A quick roll. 1:41 -- A sloppy orbit of the Crepe Myrtle, and near-collision. 1:55 -- Buzzing Pat's tower. 2:17 -- A fly-by on my wife and son as they leave the park in the car. 2:45 -- Through the park's pedestrian gate, sort of. 3:01 -- A jaunt down the no-parking zone a roll, and almost hit a lightpole! 4:09 -- Nearly fly through a tree, 4:20 -- A really nice orbit of the Crepe Myrtle. 5:24 -- I spotted Pat's quadcopter and chased him a bit. 6:06 -- Through the pedestrian gate for real, this time. 6:17 -- A bounce, a skip, and then a "landing".
