Greg Koukl addresses the buzz surrounding the Ida fossil, a 47-million-year-old primate hailed by many as the missing link in human evolution. While the fossil is beautifully preserved and scientifically intriguing, Greg points out that the media’s claims are wildly overstated. With a 40-million-year gap between Ida and the earliest known hominids, there’s no credible basis to call it a direct ancestor of humans. Greg urges Christians to remain calm, think critically, and not be swayed by flashy headlines that confuse speculation with solid science.
