Got rid of the stock pickup in my $59 Guitar Center find (which wasn't a bad pickup actually) and installed a Phat Screamer from TNT Custom Guitars (aka Dragonfire Guitar Works). I've put "screamers" in all my other guitars and decided to take it up a notch with the Phat Screamers - bigger pole pieces. TONS of output and sustain but the clean sound is still awesome. By far the best buy in pickups anywhere.
