Ever wonder how Andy Kaufman got involved in the world of Pro Wrestling?
THE REAL STORY from the man who brought him to Memphis Wrestling!

This is taken from the Art Of Wrestling Podcast with professional wrestler, COLT CABANA. (http://www.WeLoveColt.com & iTunes)
This episode was a sit down long form conversation with journalist BILL APTER.
Bill Apter was the main editor and photographer for the wrestling magazines (aka the APTER MAGS) in the 70's and 80's.

Andy Kaufman loved pro wrestling. He was a super huge fan who eventually got himself involved. He initially tried to work for the WWWF (now WWE / WWF) for Vince McMahon sr. He eventually made wrestling history by doing storylines for Memphis wrestling. More noteable with Jerry the King Lawler.

Bill Apter was the one responsible for ALL OF THIS. He was the middle man.

On this Podcast episode, Bill Apter explains in great detail the ABSOLUTE TRUTH and THE REAL STORY of how Andy Kaufman started his involvement in the world of Professional Wrestling.

THE ART OF WRESTLING PODCAST is a weekly sitdown conversation with the people involved in the world of pro wrestling.
It's hosted by Colt Cabana, International Pro Wrestling Superstar.

Colt previously has wrestled for WWE and was featured on Marc Maron's WTF.
