About Darkest Dungeon:

Darkest Dungeon is a challenging gothic roguelike turn-based RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring. Recruit, train, and lead a team of flawed heroes against unimaginable horrors, stress, famine, disease, and the ever-encroaching dark. Can you keep your heroes together when all hope is lost?

Mal's Random Musing: This is a truly interesting, compelling, complex (yet accessible), rogue-like, RPG, turn based dungeon crawler. You find yourself far less concerned about how much XP your characters have earned and find yourself concerned with their stress levels. When you venture forth you have to make tough choices, who to bring, how much to spend on supplies and is the group strong enough (if not should I abandon??). Darkest Dungeon feels fresh with its art style, framing, music and tone. This game is worth the price of admission.

Who Is Mal?

I am an old geek who has been playing games my entire life. I have a keen interest in RPG, Strategy & Tactical games. On my channel you will find Indie as well as AAA titles but I do try to bring light to smaller, worthy projects whenever I am able to. My videos will typically take the form of First Looks, Let's Learn or Let's Plays (and will always include analysis).

Thank You so much for watching and please support with a like, or subscription if you enjoyed any of the videos!
