General Sadur, the former leader of the coup on Isla Duala, has retreated to the island of Tigeria to form a guerrilla pirate force against US assets and their allies. The island is some 100 miles from Duala, north of Madagascar. Another former French colony, it used to be a wealthy banana export country (and the farms still exist) until the government collapsed. It has since then become a haven for pirates and warlords, and a small cache of Soviet-era weaponry, including limited armor and anti-aircraft capabilities. The General has threatened the region's stability, American lives, and even US soil. We have been deployed to stop his operations, pacify the island, and bring him into custody. This is our initial assault on the island, I am commanding the air combat element for Task Force Alpha.
