Our series this week focuses on creative East Germans whose careers were shaped by the fall of the Berlin Wall. In part two,we meet Michael Fischer-Art. The Leipzig-born artist was prevented from studying art after joining a dissident group. But he continued to paint secretly in his spare time,and in the 1990s he exhibited at Art Cologne and became a member of the Neue Leipziger Schule movement.
