I thought the baby's new parents would like to see them playing in their brooder. So, after a little playtime with me I put the camera on a tripod and aimed it at the babies in their brooder before lunch. They ended up taking a nap while they waited for lunch time. I keep my babies in this type of brooder until they can fly and are comfortable perching. When they are flying and perching they go into a regular cage. The brooder is just basically a large plastic storage container with some perches and airholes. I keep these boxes uncovered until they can start climbing out of them, then I cover them with the tops which have lots of airholes in them.
