Care to pair a Malbec with an Argentinian Tango? Syracuse Opera is thrilled to host a truly unique event to celebrate our upcoming production of Verdi's 'La Traviata'! 'Ballroom Bordeaux' pairs wine tasting with stress-free ballroom dance instruction by members of Guzman's Dance Studio in the gorgeous Persian Terrace at the Hotel Syracuse (Marriott Syracuse Downtown). Featuring a silent auction, hors d'oeuvres, performances by singers from 'La Traviata,' dancing, and wine tasting, this is the perfect event to shake off the winter blues! Bring your spouse, partner, crush, or meet someone new for an evening of laughter, dancing, and song! Performers include Raquel Gonzalez (Violetta), Mackenzie Whitney (Alfredo), and Todd Thomas (Germont). January 25, 7-9 PM.
