Rock Sculpture Demonstrates Hidden Beauty Of Nature

This artistic video shows a mobile rock sculpture, up close and personal.  I started collecting rocks for this project 50 years ago.  They were cut into slabs, polished and soldered together, much like a stained glass window.  Some stones float from transparent fishing line.   Close-ups were taken with an HP Scanjet G4050 photo scanner.  I was able to look deep inside the rocks at 100x magnification, using light filters, similar to the stains that scientists use to look at slides under a microscope.  This project demonstrates the beauty of nature, hidden in rock.
