It was definitely another lull between trains. But after a while, I pointed out an oncoming headlight. By the looks of the headlights at first, I had the feeling it was an Amtrak. But as started blowing, it sounded like a K5HL, so we assumed it would be a freight train. Once entering town, I saw the train and the headlight position, I was like "yeup, another Amtrak." On the bright side, there was a Dash 8 trailing. I've seen loco #514 several times, but I still consider this as a not-everyday catch since #92 runs with P42DCs every other day. It's been a few months already and the Silver Star is still running without a dining car. Only 1 more Amtrak to go and then it's called a day. Enjoy. 1. P42 #73 2. B32-8WH #514
