Got a great question in from a fan named Sean, who asked about discouragement between an artist and their peers. It's an important subject that I'm currently still looking for a specific answer to myself...so, on this weekend's Kirblog I recount a lot of my personal trials and tribulations with my own skill level in comparison to me peers and colleagues. As an artist, it's incredibly difficult to stop yourself from being compared, or even worse, comparing YOURSELF, to other artists who might be further along with their careers than you. However, it's also one of the biggest pitfalls you can fall into...and sometimes, you're the one digging it. To those listening who have creative drives, what are your experiences with peer pressure and "me" pressure?
