 Here is my analysis of the ascents of ancient pophets, kings, priests, and ordinary people and their deification through this process. 

They become angels who then come back to minister to the earth's inhabitants. They are of the "same substance" as God, hence the doctrine that mankind is not Divinized is at odds with Classical Christianities teachings concerning man's relationship to Deity in the Trinitarian doctrines.
