Some people seem to think that Old Testament prophets were somehow superhuman and God could never raise up more people like them. So we're going to do a series on just exactly how flawed they were - and yet God puts them in the "Pantheon of Heroes" in Hebrews 11. Gideon is a guy that needed CONSTANT reassurance in order to obey God and THEN makes a horrible decision and makes an idol that becomes an object of worship and snare to his family. And yet he is used by God to destroy an army of 135,000 men with just 300 guys - and has ZERO casualties. It has to be the craziest warfare strategy in all of history - because it's God's idea.
