Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Barack Obama met at the White House for the first time since they assumed office earlier this year. Mr. Obama repeated Washington's support for a two-state solution, with a Palestinian state living alongside Israel in peace. Mr. Netanyahu said he is ready to talk with the Palestinians "immediately" but he did not endorse an independent Palestinian state. Leta Hong Fincher has more.
