The trail ends here, where I made the "mock" stick structure. It was a "star" or "asterix". I could not find it at first until I realized it had been destroyed. I thought the dead pine tree had fallen on it, but when I reviewd the footage from 09/05/2009 this dead pine tree was on the opposite side, you will see it next to the tree I put the structure in. The tree was smashed down some limbs going opposite of the direction the dead tree would have pushed them. There were several saplings that were also ripped out of the ground. If I had to guess I think this is "their" territory and they do not like "Bigfoot Squatters"... Just a guess..
