With the continuing heavy rains in Kerala, there is increased flow into the Siruvani dam which is fast approaching it's full capacity. The overflowing Siruvani dam is causing heavy flow in the Kovai Kutralam falls. In light of this, the forest department has closed the falls to the public for the fourth consecutive day.
