Members of the Philadelphia Orchestra give an impromptu Dvorak performance onboard a plane delayed for seven hours by storms in Beijing. Playing a selection of Antonin Dvorak, a string quartet from the Philadelphia Orchestra helped ease the boredom for passengers stuck onboard a flight in China during a lengthy delay. Two violinists, a cellist and a viola player were aboard a flight that was delayed for three hours on the tarmac in Beijing on Friday. They took out their instruments and played a spontaneous concert for the appreciative - if captive - audience. Naturally, passengers took out their smartphones and began recording as the orchestra played a selection from Dvorak's American String Quartet. The musicians were greeted with cheers and applause as they wrapped up their five-and-a-half-minute performance. A video of the impromptu concert was posted online.
