How long does it take to hammer in a nail? It doesn't matter, as long as you keep hammering. My son wanted to have a clubhouse in the back yard. I told him we could build a good one, but I would only work on it if he helped me every step of the way. He learned a lot about construction and had a good time. When it was done, he looked at it and said, "Wow! I can't believe we built that ourselves." Good for self-esteem, building skills, and confidence.
