Decided to make some first person skateboarding shots with my gopro, turned out really nice. This video really shows the pure form of skateboarding. First person skateboarding is basically just a pov shot of someone skateboarding, see video above ;) This First Person Skateboarding video was shot using a gopro hero 3, the footage was later color corrected. The First person / pov shots were made using a helmet mount. It was shot in a skatepark called Olympia plein in Amsterdam, on the first hot summer day we had. This is the second first person skateboarding video I made and let me know if you like it so I will make more. In this specific first person skateboarding video serveral skateboard tricks are done, mostly flatground tricks and some other tricks on a ledge. I tried to mostly do some odd/creative tricks like wallrides and fingerflips. First Person skateboarding videos have already been done a lot and I’m not trying to copy anyone. The godfather of these videos is a channel named baskwith but he stopped doing these kind of first person skateboarding videos. I got inspired by him and that’s all. I do have to say that the filming part in making a first person skateboarding video isn’t that hard but the tricks you’re doing do get a little harder because you have a helmet with a gopro attached on your head. I do put a lot of time in all the videos I make and I try to make quality content for sure. In this First person skateboarding video I also landed a late hardflip which I think is pretty cool :P.
