On January 15th 2010, an annular eclipse (an eclipse where the moon doesn't quite cover the surface of the sun and makes it look like a punchole) will transvere the Earth from Central Africa, across the Maldive Islands, Southern India and Northern Sri Lanka, Myanmar before finishing in China. This video shows the areas that will be covered by the eclipse. BECAUSE THE ELIPSE IS NOT TOTAL, IT CANNOT BE VIEWED AT ANY POINT BY THE NAKED EYE. To find out more information or to request a simulation for your own area, please message me.
