There is nothing unusual about the story of Students Union Football Club in Bengaluru. It has been around for half a century and has always struggled for funds. As the DH video shows its members scramble to raise the Rs 16 lakh they need annually to keep the club running. When its players come to Bengaluru to play, there is no money to stay in the hotel. The club members put up the players in their homes.
