From the mixed weapons class a little break down of a Mair play. The first part is to show that (often in drilling) people will ignore the instinct to protect which sets up a movement which is unprotected, leaving both parties uncovered. The second is to show that if by actively crossing in defence or by the chance meetings of an anterior oblique sling stab/stabs, a cross is formed with an inward but tactile bind.
